Final Squeeze
I'm right there WITH you. And so many of us are, too.
The Wood Snake's final two-day squeeze—ending this Tuesday, February 17th—feels heavier than ever, and it's no accident. This is the Snake's last, powerful embrace, forcing out every final trace of what no longer serves you so you can finally shed your skin and breathe free.
This is the raw, vulnerable, yet electric edge of transformation.
I've personally felt the pull of old patterns: neglecting self-care, watching my energy dip into familiar exhaustion, and letting boundaries soften until I felt drained. It has been a humbling struggle.
I hear the same from my patients—beautiful souls burdened by the world's weight: global stress, personal loss, resurfacing burnout, and the quiet ways life wears us down until old habits seem like the only comfort. You are not alone. Many of us are sensing this constriction, recognizing where we've drifted, and silently yearning for release.
This final amplification of discomfort is precisely what the Snake offers: it highlights the patterns we've outgrown and tightens around what's ready for release. The heaviness is not failure—it's the pressure preceding the breakthrough.
I know this journey intimately, as I've lived my own version of this squeeze. Traditional medicine couldn't fully resolve my chronic health challenges—the pain, inflammation, fatigue, and immune issues. After my twin girls were born in 2015, the intensity grew, and the limits of symptom-focused care became painfully clear, bringing me to this same edge.
That pressure didn't break me—it reshaped me. Instead of staying on the conventional route, I chose the more difficult, often solitary path, pushing past the loud voices that claimed I wasn't practicing 'real medicine’ as ‘wellness’ was Yet, I had a clear vision: I knew that seeking root causes through functional and integrative medicine to heal myself from the inside out would ultimately help many others.
That pressure didn't break me; it fundamentally reshaped my path. I turned away from the conventional route and embraced a more difficult, often solitary journey. Despite the loud, critical voices claiming that this wasn't "real medicine” as "wellness" was barely on the horizon in 2006, I held fast to a clear vision: I understood that seeking root causes through functional and integrative medicine to heal myself from the inside out would ultimately serve as a powerful new medicine model to help countless others.
This personal journey of shedding limited beliefs, outdated approaches, and self-neglect ultimately led to the birth of aNu Aesthetics & Optimal Wellness. It's a space of deep compassion, blending science, traditional medicine, and holistic care—not just for my patients, but because I've walked this path myself.
As the Snake coils its last, I am personally recommitting right now. Small, gentle steps. Saying yes to my needs. Truly listening to my body and heart again. I extend this same grace to everyone feeling this final squeeze.

Redefine Success
It All Begins Here
Confidence doesn’t always arrive with a bold entrance. Sometimes, it builds quietly, step by step, as we show up for ourselves day after day. It grows when we choose to try, even when we’re unsure of the outcome. Every time you take action despite self-doubt, you reinforce the belief that you’re capable. Confidence isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about trusting that you can figure it out along the way.
The key to making things happen isn’t waiting for the perfect moment; it’s starting with what you have, where you are. Big goals can feel overwhelming when viewed all at once, but momentum builds through small, consistent action. Whether you’re working toward a personal milestone or a professional dream, progress comes from showing up — not perfectly, but persistently. Action creates clarity, and over time, those steps forward add up to something real.
You don’t need to be fearless to reach your goals, you just need to be willing. Willing to try, willing to learn, and willing to believe that you’re capable of more than you know. The road may not always be smooth, but growth rarely is. What matters most is that you keep going, keep learning, and keep believing in the version of yourself you’re becoming.
