Cristyn Watkins, MD
Aesthetic Master Injector, Functional Wellness Physician and National Trainer for Regenerative Medicine
Dr. Cristyn Watkins is from Kansas City, MO, attended The University of Kansas for her Human Biology Bachelor degree, and completed her medical training in New York City and New Jersey. Dr. Watkins is board certified in Family Medicine and was Chief Resident and Most Honored Resident of Family Medicine at her training program. She is already certified and is pursuing her Fellowship in Integrative, Metabolic, and Nutrition Medicine with the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of George Washington University. She focuses her entire practice on advanced medical aesthetics, regenerative medicine, healthy aging and personalized wellness medicine. She is the owner and visionary of aNu Aesthetics™ and Optimal Wellness, is involved in every aspect of the practice, and works along side her expert medical and aesthetics staff.
She is a certified Master Injector by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Neurotoxin, Cosmetic Fillers, and Chemical Peels. She enjoys patient consultations, allowing her to discuss all of the aesthetic options with her patients, and performing aesthetic injectables to allow the natural transformation her patients desire. She truly enjoys helping others achieve their desired appearance.
Dr. Watkins is trained in Bio-Identical Hormones, Medical Weight Loss and Functional/Metabolic/Nutrition Medicine. She has a passion for patient wellness and healthy aging and has a desire for all patients to achieve this lifestyle. She has treated diabetes, heart disease, thyroid conditions, menstrual and hormone conditions for almost a decade. She has been treating obesity and hormone related issues to overcome these conditions and has been very successful at helping patients achieve a healthier, happier and slimmer self!
She also has a huge passion for Regenerative Medicine and focuses a lot of her recent research and practice on advanced therapies such as Exosomes, Ozone, PRP, Peptides and IV Nutritional Therapy. She is a National Regenerative Medicine Trainer for Nurse Practitioners with RegenEd and is a proud owner of Regenerative Treatment Centers of Leawood.
She individually customizes aesthetic, hormone, wellness and weight loss programs for each of her patients to achieve success and happiness in their external and internal wellness and beauty. She feels very blessed to have this as a career and is passionate about teaching patients how to “live well” and thrive in the midst of this complex society of stress/fatigue and chronic illness.
She is a native of Kansas City and lives there with her husband and 3 young children – Miles, Madalynn and Macy (twins!). Her passions outside of aNu are her family and friends and enjoys travel, cooking, and the great outdoors!

Janet Stevenson has been involved in the Kansas City-area wellness community since 2002, having managed several prominent wellness practices. She is a firm believer in holistic therapies and the power of the body to heal itself given the proper support. Janet leads from a place of caring, compassion and an innate sense for doing what’s right. She loves connecting people to the resources and caregivers who can help them on their wellness journey.
Janet has lived in Overland Park for 22 years. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mitch and her daughter, Lindsey. She also enjoys good food, good friends, traveling and spending time in nature.
Angie’s 15 years of experience in the human resources field and legal community – coupled with her passion for marketing and corporate event planning – make her the perfect fit as Practice Administrator at aNu’s newest River Market location. Her desire is to help people gain confidence, achieve their wellness goals, and have fun along the way.
You can’t have a conversation with Angie Ebright without leaving with a smile on your face. You’ll feel like you’ve known her your whole life; and that’s because she truly cares about people and making an impact on the entire community where she lives and works. She is passionate about delivering a best-in-class client experience for anyone who crosses her path.
A sports fan at her core, Angie has lived in the Kansas City area for more than 20 years and can usually be seen cheering on KC Royals or Chiefs at home games, playing golf, or volunteering at a variety of events in the area. She sits on the Board for Braden’s Hope, a local organization dedicated to eradicating childhood cancer, and she gives her time and talents generously to those who need it.
Heather K Isom, MD
Master Aesthetic Injector
Dr. Heather Isom is a native of Columbia, Missouri, and received her undergraduate and medical training at The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine’s accelerated six year combined BA/MD program. She completed her residency and board certification in Emergency Medicine in and currently serves as assistant professor of Emergency Medicine at University of Missouri-Kansas City/Truman Medical Center.
Although initially trained in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Isom developed an interest and became trained in aesthetic medicine alongside Dr. Watkins in 2011 and has been a part of aNu Aesthetics™ since its inception. Dr. Isom believes that feeling good about how you look is paramount in feeling good in general. In addition to her full time job in the Emergency Department at Truman Medical Center-Hospital Hill, she is still passionate about aesthetic medicine and thoroughly enjoys providing aesthetic services at aNu.
Dr. Isom works full time at Truman Medical Center-Hospital Hill and part-time at aNu Aesthetics™ and Optimal Wellness. Although two jobs keep her quite busy, in her spare time, Dr. Isom enjoys her main priority-her family. She is married to Dr. Michael Shafe, and together they have four boys-Keenan, Kai, Kian, and Kristoffer. They enjoy spending time together at home, as well as travelling around the US and the world as a family.

Amanda Whitson, APRN
Amanda “Mandy” is a Family Nurse Practitioner and board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Mandy also has a Bachelor of Social Work degree. She has been providing patient care in diverse settings in the KC metro area for over 10 years.
Because of her experience and passion Mandy has focused on Functional Medicine and Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapies to help her patients restore their natural vitality. She collaborates with her patients and together they find treatment plans and options best-suited for each individual.
Mandy believes in patient-centric care that is respectful and responsive to an individual’s needs. Her approach is to develop a partnership in which patients are empowered to take control of their own health and healing thereby optimizing a patient’s ability to make lifestyle changes for life-long well-being. She culminates experience along with advanced diagnostic testing tools, and other modalities, to help patients find their way to their best health.
Noreen Bollinger, RN
Master Aesthetic Injector and National Trainer for Galderma
Noreen Bollinger earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and began her career as a registered nurse in 2008. She is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. She serves aNu as an Aesthetic Nurse Injection Specialist. Noreen is an expert injector that utilizes neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin) to relax wrinkles and soften facial lines. She is also skilled at injecting dermal fillers to soften lines, folds, wrinkles and to correct age-related volume loss.
Noreen is experienced in injecting the following dermal fillers: Juvederm, Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Volbella, Juvederm Vollure, Restylane, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne, Radiesse, and Belotero. She is also a certified Radiesse hands injector which allows her to correct volume loss in the back of the hands. Noreen is certified in injecting Kybella, which is a non-surgical treatment to reduce submental (double chin) fat. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses (ASPSN) and has completed the EPIC Advanced Injector training program.
She also attends numerous advanced training courses and seminars annually as she believes on-going education is important to mastering the most current injection techniques. Noreen is dedicated to making her patients look natural, refreshed and beautiful.
Kelly Gillotti, RN-BSN
Master Aesthetic Injector
Kelly Gillotti, RN-BSN, is an Aesthetic Injector who began her nursing journey at Northwest Missouri State University and moved to Kansas City to earn her degree from Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences. She began her nursing career with cardiac transplant patients, rotating in the operating room while simultaneously injecting. Kelly is excited to pursue her true life-long passion of medical aesthetics full-time.
Even though Kelly has extensive training and experience injecting neurotoxins and cosmetic dermal filler s, she has chosen to expand her knowledge by becoming a Certified Master Injector. Kelly will also offer IV therapy, female rejuvenation with ThermiVa, treatments with PRP (platelet rich plasma), and laser treatments including IPL photofacials and Fractora. Kelly values on-going education as she believes it is the most important building block for staying up to date with current techniques and products.
Kelly conveys her knowledge, professionalism and passion to all patients, offering a personable experience for everyone. She enjoys one-on-one time with patients, helping them achieve their goals and become the best version of themselves. Kelly is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and wants her patients to leave revitalized and happy.
Lauren Anderson, RN-BSN
Wellness Nurse and Patient Care Coordinator
Lauren considers herself a life-long learner and has a Bachelors degree in both Nursing and Community Health. She brings compassionate and intricate care to aNu from her nine years of RN experience working in a neonatal intensive care unit in Kansas City. Lauren is thrilled to pursue her passion of empowering others to optimize their health using an integrative and holistic approach. She believes in the power of self care and is ready to share her expertise and energy to enable our patients to feel their very best.
Lauren grew up and currently resides in Overland Park with her husband, James, and two children, Blakely and Callahan. She and her family love exploring all that Kansas City has to offer. When she isn’t chasing her two kids around, she loves to exercise, read, and go on date nights with her husband and enjoys social hour with her girlfriends.

Nancy has worked in the Health, Wellness and Aesthetic fields for over 30 years! She enjoys the entire process of helping people achieve their beauty, wellness and happiness goals. She brings special skills in counseling and coaching people in overall wellness and health with very personal and individual service for each client.
Nancy specializes in the following services: Coolsculpting, Laser Hair Removal, Laser facials and resurfacing, Micro-Needling, ThermiVa and ThermiSmooth, Dermaplane, Hydrafacials and Peels, and Womens’ Fitness Instruction and Weight Loss.
Teresa Pearcy has been in the aesthetic and medical profession for twelve years. She received her Aesthetician license at Paris II Aesthetics and Cosmetology in Kansas City, MO. Teresa has helped numerous clients during her 12 years in the skin care business and is looking forward to being apart of your skin care journey.
Teresa specializes in treating cosmetic conditions of the skin. Regardless of you’re skin care concerns, she is devoted to offering you a customized skin care program. Teresa believes not only in treatment, but in providing you education on how you can best meet your skin care goals. She sincerely cares about the individual needs of every client who walks through our door. Teresa has lived in Liberty, Missouri for 15 years. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband, Mark, her twin daughters, Taylor and Kennedy, and her dog Sasha.
Catherine Zeller-Bear, CLO/A
Certified laser technician/ Esthetician with 13 years medical spa experience.
Client relationships are key to her success. Listening to each individuals’ concerns and developing the best plan to achieve those goals is why Cathy loves the aesthetic field. From skin rejuvenating with microneedling, IPL, peels, dermaplaning, and facials to laser hair reduction and acne treatments, are a few of the services her clients love.
Rylee is excited to be working back in the medical field because she loves creating relationships with clients and getting to know them. She has lived north of Kansas City in Saint Joseph her entire life, is the oldest of five kids, and loves to cheer her siblings on in everything they do. When she isn’t babysitting (her favorite pass time!) she loves to be at the lake with friends and family, cheer on the Royals, and hang out with her three perfect pups; Charley, Letty and Nova. When she grows up she wants to name Crayolas and her favorite animal is a flamingo!
Anne is excited to be working at aNu in the medical wellness and aesthetic field because her biggest passion is seeing women reach their full potential. Helping clients have the best experience possible, while creating a culture that brings out the best in people is her number one goal. She lives in a historic fixer upper in Kansas City, Missouri. In her free time she enjoys photography, volunteering, and spending time with her husband Rob and her children, Ashlee, Asa and Elias, and her dog Scout.
